Building a new outdoor brand: Advane

Sometimes, a strong brand starts with an idea — and the courage to turn it into something bigger. That's what we did for Advane, a new brand in the outdoor segment. Building on a founding vision and a brand name, we developed a complete brand identity, including a logo, brand design, and communication strategy.

Advane is a new outdoor brand that encourages people to rediscover their strength and balance in nature, particularly through hiking. The focus is on providing the right equipment, as well as inspiration and a sense of community for those who want to slow down and reconnect with themselves.

The challenge

Creating a brand that is more than just a product

At the start of the project, there was only an initial vision and a brand name.Our task was to develop this into a fully formed, cohesive brand:

  • Formulating the brand identity:
    We worked with the founder to identify what makes Advane unique: balance, movement, a connection to nature and a sense of community.
  • Developing a visual brand world:
    We created a visual identity that brings the brand's values to life with a clear, modern and natural aesthetic, incorporating the logo, colour scheme, typography and imagery.
  • Conveying emotion:
    We developed stylescapes to make Advane's look and feel consistently visible in terms of type, colour, words and images, creating a clear emotional anchor.

Our goal:
To lay the foundations from the outset for a brand that sells far more than products - namely experiences, inspiration and a sense of belonging.
